⚫️ これ・それ・あれ
meaning : this・that
sore [wa] purezento-desuka?
A : はい、これは プレゼントです。
hai, kore [wa] purezento-desu.

kore [wa] purezento-desuka?
A : はい、これは プレゼントです。
hai, kore [wa] purezento-desu.

are [wa] purezento-desuka?
A : はい、あれは プレゼントです。
hai, are [wa] purezento-desu.
これ
‘こ(ko)’ means ‘near the speaker’.
( When the listener and speaker are close, both say ‘これ’. )
それ
‘そ(so)’ means ‘near the listener’.
( When ‘B’ is asking to ‘A’, ‘A’ is the listener, so ‘B’ says “それ”. )
あれ
‘あ(a)’ means ‘far from both the speaker and listener’.
⚫️ この・その・あの
meaning : this Noun・that Noun“この・その・あの” is used to modify Noun.

⚫️ こちら
meaning : this person“こちら” is a polite expression of “これ”.
It is used to introduce somebody politely.
