⚫️ Verb te Form います
meaning : I am doing. ( Present Continuous )It means that it is happening or something is continuing.
watashi [wa] ima hon [o] yonde-imasu.
( I’m reading a book. )
ame [ga] futte-imasu.
( It is raining. )
Verb Te-form います
⚫️ Verb te Form います
meaning : habitIt means that you do it regularly.

watashi [wa] mainichi kōen [o] hashitte-imasu.
( I run at the park everyday. )
watashi [wa] maiasa ringo [o] tabete-imasu.
( I eat an apple every morning. )
This expression can be used to say your job.
jonson-san [wa] daigaku [de] eigo [o] oshiete-imasu.
( Mr.Johnson teaches English at a university. )
⚫️ Verb te Form いません
meaning : I have not done.It means that you have not completed to do something.
“まだ” which means “yet” is used together.
watashi [wa] mada shukudai [o] shite-imasen.
( I have not done my homework yet. )
mada hirugohan [o] tabete-imasen.
( I have not eaten lunch yet. )
Verb Te-form いません
⚫️ にています
There are some verbs that are originally in the form of “-ています”.
| にています nite-i-masu | to be alike |
| まがっています magatte-i-masu | to be bent |
| つづいています tsuzuite-i-masu | to go further in the same direction |
| めんしています menshite-i-masu | to be facing |
