i-Adjective

i-Adjective ends with “-い”.

i-Adjective (-い) + Noun

“- i (い)” sound before Noun

やす ふく
yasui fuku
( a cheap clothes )

かる かばん
karui kaban
( a light bag )

na-Adjective

na-Adjective doesn’t end with “-い”.

These words are na-Adjective even though they end with “-い”.

na-Adjective (-な) + Noun

You need to add “-na (な)” before Noun.

すき たべもの
suki-na tabemono
( food which I like )

ひま ひ 
hima-na hi
( a day which I have nothing to do )

ゆうめいな ひと 
yumei-na hito
( a famous person )
