Grammar Note

The Te-form is a vital verb form used to connect sentences or express ongoing actions. Its conjugation depends on the verb group:

⚫️ Group 1

For Group 1 verbs, the ending changes based on the last syllable of the stem:

いちりって
i・chi・ri → tte

にびみんで
ni・bi・mi → nde

いて
ki → ite

いで
gi → ide

して
shi → shite

irregular

⚫️ Group 2

Just replace “~masu” with “~te“:

ます
masu → te

⚫️ Group 3
