⚫️ Verb Ta-form り、Verb Ta-form りします
meaning : I do … , do … and so on.This sentence pattern is used when you show a few examples from several things what you did or what happened.
nichiyōbi [wa] eiga [o] mita-ri, sanpo [o] shita-ri shi-masu.
( On Sunday I watch movies, take a walk … and so on. )
Tense is determined by the end of the sentence.
watashi [wa] kinō ginza [de] kaimono [o] shi-tari, kafe [de] ocha [o] nonda-ri shi-mashita.
( I enjoyed shopping, had coffee at cafe … at Ginza yesterday. )
Antonym is often used. It means you do something again and again.
deta-ri, haitta-ri shi-masu
( to go out and go in again and again )
itta-ri kita-ri shi-masu
( to go back and forth repeatedly )
agatta-ri, sagatta-ri shi-masu
( to go up and go down repeatedly )
