How to form the Imperative-form
The Imperative Form is used to give strong, direct commands or to shout instructions in urgent or casual situations.
⚫️ Group 1
Change the “i” sound before ~masu to an “e” sound and drop ~masu.
i ます → e
– i masu → – e
| いいます いきます およぎます けします たちます しにます えらびます よみます はしります ī-masu iki-masu oyogi-masu keshi-masu tachi-masu shini-masu erabi-masu yomi-masu hashiri-masu | いえ いけ およげ けせ たて しね えらべ よめ はしれ ie ike oyoge kese tate shine erabe yome hashire |
⚫️ Group 2
Replace “~masu” with “~ro“.
ます → ろ
masu → ro

⚫️ Group 3
